Hyde Park is the perfect venue to host picnics with family or friends or simply to take the dogs for a stroll on weekends. Hyde Park is maintained by Royal Parks which keeps the park in the excellent shape that it is. Another thing that Hyde Park is famous for is the Speakers Corner which is located in the north-east corner of Hyde Park.

There are tonnes of great activities take part on during the summer months. Thousands flock to Hyde Park in hope for a quiet day in the sun hoping to forget the worries of the city. Exercise fanatics love the wide open spaces for their daily jogging while others prefer rollerblading.

Hyde Park is a staggering
350 hectares big, which makes it pretty amazing to find such a large area in the middle of London completely covered with grass, trees and small critters. Do not forget about the Serpentine Lake which divides Hyde Park. During the summer months you will be able to enjoy feeding the swans, ducks and even take a rowing boat on the lake. There are two café’s that serve both hot and cold food and normally a couple of daily food stands to keep the crowds fed if you did not pack lunch or a snack.

The park is quite accessible by the bus network and the underground network which makes Hyde Park the perfect place for a day out in London without feeling like you are in a concrete jungle.
